What is our Blue Christmas service?
This service is a quiet, reflective, and relatively sombre Christmas service, held after the longest night of the year (December 21, the beginning of Winter). It is a service for people who may be experiencing grief, loss, pain, who are unable to fully participate in festive Christmas worship services and celebrations. The service is open to all, and will use both English and Chinese. Our Blue Christmas service will not be livestreamed.

St. John’s seeks to enable people in all their diversity to encounter the transforming presence of God in Jesus Christ. 聖約翰堂是多倫多第一間華人聖公會，由香港移民家庭成立於1973年。侊似以色列人蒙主引領經歷曠野，四十年來在四間不同教堂崇拜之後，在2013年搬到現址，適中的地點，莊嚴優美的聖堂，綠化的前後園子，是一個可以讓我們更多服務人群和傳揚福音的好地方。
藉上帝從不間斷的帶領和恩典，我們在香港移民的基礎上，近年發展至融合多元種族，文化和語言，擴濶了天國事工的機會，也為移民的下一代更能融入加拿大社會，提供了一個在基督裏的群體。
感謝神恩，我們樂見下一代積極留在自己教會中繼續事奉，甚至加入爲信徒領袖。我們更投入牧養資源，支持已步入社會的在職青年和他們組成的新家庭，去不斷成長。
我們深信耶穌基督的福音超越文化，也可以提升文化。我們珍重自身文化的可貴，也樂於欣賞不同文化的多姿多采。
我們中間的許多操粵語移民，在過去半個世紀以來一直到今天，都非常歡迎和願意幫助香港來的移民，在此安居，紮根，成長。
在21世紀的加拿大，尤其是在多倫多，具前瞻性的移民願景，有很大的空間。本堂盼望與大家一起邁進，為我們的下一代，為更新的教會，為上帝的國度，共同努力！
